The one where the Lion fell in Love with the Lamb; in this case, the Lion is a breathtakingly beautiful Vampire, Edward and the Lamb happens to be super clumsy and mature for her age teenage girl, Bella.
Twilight became a quick success when it was first released on the screens back in 2008, and the rest is history. The Vampire-Werewolf drama was all that romantic teenager could talk about nearly a decade ago.
Fast forward a few years, it’s still what most of the now grown-up teenagers can talk about because since then there were 4 more movies that have been added to the collection.
These 4 movies were the extension to the original Twilight, The Twilight Saga.
With a total of 5 movies in their collection, people usually had a hard time deciphering as to which movie they should watch first when it comes to having a binge-watching session for this catalog.
And despite the movies actually following the order of their release, it still gets confusing for first-timers as to which movie came first, because they all start with the same name, The Twilight Saga.

How to watch Twilight Movies in Order
The Twilight series consists of 5 parts, from 4 books. To increase anticipation and revenue, the last book was broken into two movies that were released a year apart. These movies are as follows:
1. Twilight (2008)
The first one to roll out, Twilight, based on Stephine Meyer’s bestseller love story of the same name.
Twilight was the beginning of a very long and strong love story between Bella, a newly moved teenager in the wet and chilly town of Folks, where the weather was always dull and gloomy, thanks to the vast forestry that surrounded it.
And so the no-sunlight zone was the best place the Cullens could reside.
Cullens happened to be a too-good-to-be-true, strikingly beautiful, and pale family of 7, with Mr. and Mrs. Cullen and their adopted kids.
While Edward, the youngest of the Cullen usually kept to himself, his unusual interest in the newbie Bella soon became an obsession and love that no one could compare to.
On the other hand, Bella found a new home within the Cullen clan, there were others out there who were after her blood, more from their kind, and Edward had to protect her from them at all cost.
2. The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009)
After Twilight’s success, despite its obvious debut flaws and acting blunders, the movie series was immediately renewed because of its immense popularity within the crowd at the time.
New Moon was officially the second part of the series, and a tragic one as well. Edward tried hard to keep her safe from her blood-thirsty kind, but things went awry when one of his own family members came after Bella for her blood, forcing them all to let her go, once and for all.
Bella, despite being mature for her age couldn’t handle the separation, and this is where the powerful debut of a werewolf comes into the picture, Jacob, who will turn out to be one of the most prominent and powerful characters in the upcoming parts.
From old enemies to new ones, Bella finally meets Volturi, the lawmakers of the Vampires, who have suddenly taken a keen interest in her involvement with the Cullens.
3. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010)
The third installment is all about the revival of the old enemies, multiple of them. Victoria is after Bella’s blood, Jacob and his clan are cordial with the Cullens, and the Volturi is watching the rat race from afar, only to step in when they aren’t needed at all.
The movie direction and cinematography have immensely improved over the course of 2 years, just how a wine matures with age, we saw the same within the storyline as well as in the acting of all.
The only thing we did not appreciate was the costume and the horrible wigs that each one of them had worn in the movie, but that changed in the final 2 parts of the film.
4. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 (2011)
The first one of the final lot, Breaking Dawn was one of the highly anticipated Twilight movies of them all, both parts, because they were broken down based on Bella’s pre and post-Vampire life. Breaking Dawn part 1 was all about the wedding.
Yes! There was a wedding, and we all lived for it, because that was the most beautiful scene of them all.
Not to forget the grand honeymoon in the middle of nowhere! That was one heck of a teaser they gave us for our own bucket list.
But nothing seems to be the way it is, and with human Bella and Vampire Edward, something was bound to go wrong, this time, it was no other enemy, but their own unborn child that was growing rapidly inside Bella, while killing her at the same time.
How will Edward save her, and her child? Meanwhile, Jacob is fighting another battle to protect Bella from his pack of werewolves.
5. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 (2012)
The final and foremost installation, Breaking Dawn part 2 came out a whole year later than part 1, and everything about this movie shouted elegance, melody, and whatnot.
From the melodious background score to it’s breathtakingly beautiful setting, Breaking Dawn part 2 was our favorite of the lot for all the right reasons.
Most of them all were finally getting to see Bella’s transformation from a human to a vampire, and that too a good one.
It was fun to see her finally become a strong character in the movie that didn’t need any more saving because her abilities to protect herself and others became evident with time.
And we also got to see the maternal and paternal instincts in Bella and Edward to protect their daughter, Renesmee from unwanted intruders, while Jacob stood with them during all the battles, the biggest one being against the Volturi.
